The Twin City Christian Service Center
The Twin City Christian Service Center at Uhrichsville was able to purchase a commercial refrigerator and a commercial freezer with a $6,750 grant from the foundation. The non-profit organization operates with the help of 70 to 100 volunteers who provide donated food to those in need. The new appliances replaced a collection of old, residential-type refrigerators and freezers. The larger units have allowed the food pantry to provide a greater variety of food items, including more produce. The food pantry aids hundreds of families each year.
