The mission of the Tuscarawas County Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in our area by making charitable grants to deserving nonprofit organizations. During the last eight years, the foundation has made grants totaling nearly $750,000. A detailed list of the past two years of grant awards are shown below.

 

2016 Awardees – General Community Fund

East Central Ohio Educational Service Center
$2,300 – Support for 2016 Reading Festival

$10,000 – In-house camera security system

$3,500 – Repairs to town hall and park shelter house

Kent State University at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center
$3,000 – Advance arts education by bringing in artists to interact with students
